http://entalpipendidikan.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/epk/article/view/588

In Islamic schools, the teaching of Chemistry and other sciences as well must go beyond an integrated approach to embedding the spiritual and the scientific awareness. Despite this, there remain situations where science is taught without considering its religious value. This research intends to develop interactive e-modules integrating Islamic values with STEM for the reflective and whole learning experience focused specifically on buffer solutions. This research employs a mixed-methods approach using descriptive quantitative and reflective qualitative methods to measure the effectiveness of said e-modules. This includes the cognitive, affective, and reflective aspects of 30 students from XI IPA class at MAN 2 Pekanbaru. Cognitive data were obtained from a post-test conducted on Quizizz, while affective and reflective data were obtained from questionnaires and open-ended questions. The students' post-test scores (M = 81.00), which significantly exceeded the minimum passing grade of 75 (t = 2.167; p = 0.0386), were indicative of the positive outcome of the intervention. The affective data also evidenced students’ spiritual awareness and emotional engagement in lessons greatly (M = 4.2; SD = 0.9). Students' reflective results were able to demonstrate the concept of a buffer system in relation to the balance of God’s creation and vital elements in life. These findings confirm that the integration of science and spirituality through interactive e-modules can build a holistic, meaningful, and relevant learning character for 21st-century education.
Miftahul FikriyahWulandari WulandariSiti NazhifahTri Padilla Rahmasari

http://entalpipendidikan.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/epk/article/view/587

This study was conducted in response to the low learning outcomes of Grade XI Chemistry students at SMAN 10 Tebo, which were attributed to limited learning media variation, low student engagement, and minimal use of interactive technology. The purpose of this research was to develop a guided inquiry-based e-module integrated with educational games to enhance students’ understanding of hydrocarbon compounds. The development process followed the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The feasibility of the e-module was assessed in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research participants included a chemistry teacher and 11th-grade students from SMAN 10 Tebo. Data were collected through validation sheets, response questionnaires, and achievement tests. The e-module incorporated interactive components such as Wordwall-based educational games and Quizizz assessments to promote active learning. The findings revealed that the e-module was valid (Aiken’s V = 0.91), highly practical (teacher practicality = 97.73%; student practicality = 92.79%), and highly effective (average N-Gain = 0.75). Based on these results, the guided inquiry-based e-module integrated with educational games is recommended as a valid, practical, and effective tool to improve students’ chemistry learning outcomes, particularly on hydrocarbon materials.

Meriyenti MeriyentiRaimon EfendiEstuhono Estuhono

http://entalpipendidikan.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/epk/article/view/563

Nuris Lailiya MufadilahAli Amirul Mu’minin

http://entalpipendidikan.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/epk/article/view/589

Chemistry learning media play a role in helping students understand chemistry concepts. There are many choices of learning media used in chemistry, such as films. However, films are not widely used as learning media, one of which is Korean films. This study aims to identify chemistry content that appears in drama scenes and determine the relevance of this content to chemistry material in senior high school. The analysis process refers to Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic technique through three stages, namely sign, object, and interpretant. The validity of the findings was tested through investigator triangulation involving experts in the fields of Chemistry Education and Indonesian Language and Literature Education. The results of the inter-observer agreement coefficient calculation showed an average value of 1, which is classified as very good. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a representation of chemistry concepts in the Korean drama The First Responders. The chemistry concepts represented are related to high school chemistry subject matter. This research can be used as an alternative medium in chemistry learning. Scenes in the film can be used as sparking questions, initial problems in learning activities.
Bintang RizkyBurhanudin MilamaNovi Yanthi

http://entalpipendidikan.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/epk/article/view/577

The low academic achievement in pharmaceutical chemistry at the SMK level highlights the need for an in-depth examination of the psychological factors influencing student performance. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety with learning outcomes in pharmaceutical chemistry among 10th-grade students at SMK Negeri 3 Kesehatan dan Pekerjaan Sosial Mimika. The research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design. A sample of 120 students was selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The instruments used were self-efficacy and anxiety questionnaires, which were tested for validity and reliability, along with exam documentation for learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that self-efficacy was positively significantly related (r = 0.598; p < 0.001), while anxiety was negatively significantly related (r = -0.463; p = 0.001) to learning outcomes. These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing self-efficacy and managing anxiety within instructional strategies
Muhamad FadliSawal MahalyRisqah A. Kasman
