Abstract

Chemistry learning needs to support the attainment of graduate profile dimensions, particularly by fostering students' collaboration, independence, creativity, and communication skills. Integrating green chemistry and chemoentrepreneurship into practical work guides can raise environmental awareness while simultaneously developing students' creativity and skills in creating useful products. These approaches are expected to make practical activities more contextual and meaningful. This study aimed to produce a valid and practical thermochemistry practical work guide based on green chemistry and chemoentrepreneurship for senior high schools (SMA/MA). Validation was conducted by five Chemistry lecturers from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Universitas Negeri Padang, while "one-to-one" evaluations and practicality assessments involved high school students at Phase F. The instruments used included questionnaires for validity, one-to-one evaluation, and practicality. Validity was analyzed using Aiken's V index. The analysis results classified the guide as valid, with an average score of 0.87. The practicality assessment by students placed the guide in the "highly practical" category, with a score of 93.48%. The data indicate that the green chemistry and chemoentrepreneurship-based thermochemistry practical work guide for SMA/MA is both valid and highly practical.
